The new Senior Android Developer will refer to the CTO.
Your key areas of responsibility will be:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Secure App compatibility with multiple versions of Android and device types
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
You have experience with high quality custom-built applications and end-to-end solutions and you have already published a couple of original Android Apps which has given you an understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
You have strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes, of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services and you have strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices.
You have knowledge of offline storage, threading and performance optimisation and of the open-source Android eco-system and the libraries available for common tasks.
You are familiar with cloud message APIs and push notifications. And you take big pride in attention to good architecture and code principles.
