| |
| |
| The Association is a non-profit business. It
is controlled by its Partners, who all have equal status, through
regular meetings of all members. Each Partner in turn provides
a Director, who serves three years, one year as Chairman. |
| |
| ERI costs are kept
to a minimum, but include the services of a part-time Administrator
who is responsible for: |
| |
maintenance of the web site,
including the private pages which give details of each
member’s consultants and specialisms |
support to the Chairman and
Directors |
dealing with
multiple assignments |
general marketing. |
| |
| |
| New members join as Associates on payment of
a joining fee of EUR 400, and pay a fixed annual administration
fee of EUR 400. To become a Partner, the fee is EUR 1,000.
Net costs of central expenses are shared equally by the Partners,
after being offset by the levy on business done between members,
and any balance is credited to the Partners. |
| |
| ERI has guidelines
for members to share fees or pay commissions on work introduced
through the network, depending on the nature of the business
done. These guidelines, and the knowledge each company has of
the other partners, enable them to react quickly and efficiently
to requests from clients needing help. In the event of disputes,
the members' meeting can help to conciliate. |
| |
| |
| Membership is open to companies anywhere in
the world. While the Partners are mainly in Europe and the USA, our
associates include companies across the globe, including: |
| |
Japan |
Hong Kong/South East Asia
including China |
South Africa |
India. |
| |
| ERI has a reciprocal membership agreement with the First Interview network in the USA,
whereby all members can become First Interview affiliates without charge, and gain full access to that network.
ERI members also benefit from referrals from other FI members. (See the First Interview website for more details.) |
| |
| |
| All potential members are visited by a Partner,
or attend a Members’ meeting by invitation. The decision
to admit as an Associate is made by the Directors. A member
may become a Partner after a year or after attending a full
Members’ meeting. In the first instance, enquiries can
be made to the Administrator at tony@ERInternational.net. |
